For my sister Kelsey.....
Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You? ..... Yes, she can!
I Love, Love, Love watching Cassidee learn new things! If I am this proud of her when she learns to moooo like a cow, how proud am I going to be when she is Miss America or something! (just kidding)
Anyway, every week she learns something new, whether it is mooing, barking, or saying another word. Although I don't have any pictures to post, since I am at school and not on my computer, I just had to stop and brag on her for a minute. My sweet baby is growing up faster than I want her to.....
Things Cassidee says right now:
*momma
*da da da da
*this
*that
*I got
*sheet
*duck
*dog
*nooooo
Other things she does:
*points at a cow and says "moooo"
*points at a dog and barks
*walks around the house and barks, even though there is no dog around
*licks things -- especially if you ask her for a kiss, you'll get a lick
*blows on her food--even if she is eating yogurt, or the other day, a popsicle, she will put it up to her lips and blow before she opens her mouth
*spits at her food--like when you put the spoon to her mouth and she blows a raspberry--funny until prunes go on your white shirt!
*spits out her food if she is full and you give her another bite
*completely covers her head and face with her sheet to go to sleep
*snorts -- not when she is laughing, just on purpose -- but it's not associated with a pig
And, my favorite thing lately is to read this particular book with her. It is called B is for Bear
and it is one of those touch books with furry pages and things to feel. It starts out with A is for apple. The other day when we were reading, I jokingly told her to get a bite of the apple. Now, when she picks up the book she opens to the first page and licks it.
I Love Her!!! :-)

Just helping to get the word out....
Please click on the link for Jaymie P. on the right hand side of my blog. Here you can read the story of twin babies born prematurely and see the precious pictures of them. I know Kory and Jaymie will be very encouraged by your comments that you leave for them. Mostly, they need your prayers for their babies, Jayde and Kanyon, and also for themselves as they face this difficult time.

She'll have her cake....and eat it too!
The cake--"after" picture.
The daddies put the babies in the packs
In this picture Cassidee is telling Jodi and Reagan that the animals will be back in one minute.....
Reagan says, "The zoo is super fun!"
We went to Kemah and ate at the Aquarium Restaurant. All the fish kept the girls (and daddies) entertained!
We'll end this long post with a cute bath tub picture.

Our Family Pictures
Go to the website: www.paigepearsonphotography.com
Find "Broom" and click on it.
There you will see the amazing pictures that Paige took of our family this weekend. Let me tell you, she is a miracle worker. You would never know from looking at the pictures that my daughter was being the biggest whiney rear in the world!!! Seriously, I thought Cassidee was crying or pouting in every picture, but Paige caught some great faces on Cassidee!!! They are great! Thanks for your patience, Paige!!!

Mommy Questions
Okay, here's the deal. We are going to start switching Cassidee over to regular milk next week--11 1/2 months old--close enough to a year, I hope!?
Anyway, she's slowly taking fewer and fewer bottles these days. Basically one in the morning, one at night before bed. I'd rather not give her the milk in a bottle. I'd love to have her off bottles by a year or soon after. My thinking is that I'll just give her an ounce or two of regular milk in her sippy and see what happens. She does great with her sippy cup and prefers it filled with water over a bottle sometimes! I keep hearing everyone say that you need to mix the milk and formula half and half or so until she gets used to it. What did you do? How did you get on the regular milk and off the bottle? I know for some that is two separate issues. Cassidee does great with cheese, yogurt, ice cream (yes, bad mom of me to have given her ice cream already). Anyway, I'd appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thanks in advance!!!

Our 11 month old phone talker and "horsey" rider
Then proceeds to "talk" to whoever is on the phone--even with a paci in!
Still hanging on to that sheet.....
Here are her 11 month pictures. We took them of her riding her "horsey." I love it that she knows the names for things now. If we ask if she wants to ride her horsey, she will crawl right over to it to get on. She LOVES it. It sings a song---which gets stuck in your head immediately---and she knows how to mash his ear to make the song start again. She may become a trick rider someday--she can really make that horse go. If she isn't rocking, she'll stop an just spur the horse!
So fun to watch!
Cracking up at daddy!
